3. Fillers: Fillers such as silica (fumed or precipitated) are often added to improve mechanical properties, like tensile strength and hardness, and reduce costs.
4. Pigments/Colorants: These allow for color customization and easy identification, as silicone gaskets can be made in various colors without affecting performance.
5. Stabilizers: To enhance resistance to environmental factors, such as UV light and ozone, stabilizers are added, ensuring long-term durability.
